The volume is reading well and I like the texture lines you added on the lips. That helps them feel more natural.
Next step is to soften the shading above and below the lips a little more so the transition into the skin feels smoother.

Hello everyone,
I discovered Ali on his YouTube channel, and here we are. My husband and I decided to draw this flower. I’ve never drawn before, but I do mixed media/scrapbooking/painting. My husband is incredibly talented.
Here’s my attempt.

Drawing Community 3 weeks agoThe Mono Zero eraser is disappointing me. I can never achieve the clarity and whiteness I want. I can’t get sharp, thin white lines. Has anyone else experienced this? What are your suggestions?

when i use first experienced same, after that tried as , after 1or2 or3 strokes you need clean with emery paper.make what ever shapes with that and use it.any other suggestions from any one i too many to learn.

Have you tried cutting the tip at angle with a craft knife or box cutter or anything??

Try laying down your graphite very lightly in layers with out adding a lot of pressure on your paper. The mono zero should work well. You can cut off the tip of the eraser with an exacto knife , or rub the tip on sand paper or put some masking tape on your drawing table and rub the tip of the mono on it. The Mono Zero works best when the graphite layer is not too heavy. If the graphite is pressed deep into the paper, the eraser cannot lift it cleanly.
Try building your shading slowly in light layers and then lift the highlights. Also keep the eraser tip very sharp by trimming or rotating it… Read more1

hi , nice try, you are almost there to get better with the lips,i think you need to use darker shades under the lower lip (as i have not seen reference pic)
