This is excellent practice, Larry 👌 When you start applying this cloth technique to portrait’s drapery, you’ll really notice how much this kind of exercise pays off over time 💪🎨✨

I too have this problem, I maybe try cotton wool instead of kitchen towel which might be too rough .

They look good, Anthony, I too have arthritis which stopped me playing my guitar, apart from my medication before I start Drawing I fill a bowl with hot water and hold a sponge in my hand and squash under the hot water for a while it really helps it doesn’t remove the pain altogether but gives me a lot longer to draw,
