This is so sweet. That little hedgehog has so much character 😊
The fur texture is beautifully layered and the pose feels very natural. I really like how soft the transitions are around the face while still keeping the spines readable 👍Charcoal and graphite were a great choice for this subject. Keep going. 🎨

This is a Pastel drawing drawing I did for my daughter when her dog died last Autumn , it is not a picture of her dog but one I drew of the same breed. It took me quite a while and quite a lot of paper and Pastel wastage,😀.

Looks great, i will have to draw my dog that died 2 months ago when I can draw fur properly, really struggling drawing fur at the moment

Thanks, Anthony, my little Yorkie died 6 months ago, Keep saying I will try, the problem with a yorkie is their fur it goes every were over eyes and allsorts of colours, but one day.

Für deinen ersten Versuch auf Zeichenfolie hast du das großartig gemacht. Der Ausdruck wirkt sanft und lebendig, und das Fell hat einen schönen, natürlichen Fluss. Man spürt deine Verbindung zu Charly in diesem Werk 👍

Für eine erste Zeichnung ist das wirklich beeindruckend 😊

Ich habe das Gefühl, dass du schon zwei Igel gezeichnet hast, aber dieser hier wirkt wie dein allererster 😊
Er hat etwas sehr Reines und Ehrliches an sich. Diese Art von Charme kann man nicht vortäuschen. Mach weiter so und zeichne weiter das, was du liebst. Man sieht es immer 🎨

I slipped up on this I thought I had a piece of pastel mat paper but it was’nt I only realised over half way through when I realised I had very little tooth left on my paper, but I was to lazy to start again, it looks like its had a fright.🤣.

But honestly, it is not bad at all. Those wide eyes give the cat so much personality, and sometimes these little “accidents” actually make a piece more fun and memorable 👍 Working on low tooth paper is tough, and you still managed to push it through. Keep experimenting and laughing with… Read more

Done the dog in the pastel section, I enjoyed it love paintng dogs, used a set of Derwent Pastel I have had for a while but never used, they are not bad but wear down quick and not that good at sharpening.
