Realistic Car Drawing!
In this exclusive realtime tutorial, we’ll draw a vintage car on smooth 250 GSM sketchbook paper (9×13 inches), starting with a clean 1-inch grid and masked borders for a crisp frame. You’ll learn a simple, repeatable workflow for colored pencils: circular layering to build a soft, blurry background, pressure control to protect the paper tooth, and smooth gradients with a blender pencil. On the car body, we’ll create a 3D base, use a chisel-tip pencil for even fills, refine contrasts, and place crisp highlights with Mono Zero and an electric eraser, with optional gelly-roll touches for sparkle. By the end, you’ll have a polished, realistic car study and a background technique you can reuse. References are included in the Materials section.
