How to draw Hyper Realistic Eye | Mixed Media
In this exclusive real-time tutorial, you’ll draw a mixed-media hyperrealistic eye using both colored and graphite pencils. We’ll color the iris first (base in Cobalt Green, layered with Black for contrast, then nuanced with Cobalt Turquoise, Cadmium Yellow, Dark Naples Ochre, and Cadmium Orange tones). Texture is built with a Mono Zero/electric eraser for wavy lines, dots, and reflections, then refined with dark lines and a clean pupil. The rest of the eye is in graphite (B–9B): smooth sclera gradients, subtle tear-duct tones, and fine veins with a sharp mechanical pencil. You’ll add crisp eyelash highlights, wrinkle lines on the lid, and a softly blended graphite-powder background for depth. References are included in the Materials section.
