Drawing Community a week agoVery old grocery store
I live in Alabama and there are a lot of old worn out buildings that have long outlasted there usefulness. This Muculler Grocery store is not to far from where i live and when i feel my artistic skills are adiquit i am going to do my best to draw it.
When you look at the details it has a lot of stories to tell.
If anyone in our artistic…

Looks very good to me Anthony. When you do it again, post both drawings so we can all see the progress.

Hello guys , I have a problem figuring out where exactly to place my light, mid, and dark tones when shading. How can I learn this, or how do I identify it correctly?
Right now I’m using pencils ranging from 8B to 14B, but I’m not really getting the results I want. I’d really appreciate any tips.
Thanks in advance!

Hey guys, I’m still having trouble identifying light, mid, and dark tones. What’s the best way to figure them out? And which H and B pencils would you recommend for shading this kind of drawing? I’d appreciate any tips—I’ll show you my final result afterwards.

Very nice Martin
My guess is that Ali will answer all your questions in detail.👍

Wow
This is amazing 🤩

I would use hb, 2b, or a soft and hard use of 4b,6b for skin 8b or charcoal for eyebrow,hb, 4b, 6b for lips, 4b,6b,8b for helmet definitely pressure control plays a big role

It’s unbelievable to see my progress through Ali Sir awesome tutorials. Before beginning as well in the middle stages of this drawing, my nervousness increased and self confidence was shaking. But now its done and posted in the community. Critiquing is welcomed please
